Fugio Funding Network ("we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your personal information when you visit our website, fill out forms, or interact with our services, including our SMS/text messaging program.
By using our website or providing your personal information, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
We collect the following personal information when you complete a form on our website or interact with our services:
When you proceed to our funding portal to complete your application and funding review, you may also upload supporting documents so our team can evaluate your business — for example, bank statements, tax returns, profit-and-loss statements, balance sheets, voided checks, government-issued identification, EIN/IRS letters, and business-formation documents. These documents may contain personal and financial information, including your name, address, date of birth, Social Security or Employer Identification Number, bank account and routing numbers, images of identification, and signatures.
We may also collect non-personal data automatically, such as browser type, IP address, referring URLs, and pages visited, through cookies and similar technologies for analytics and site improvement purposes.
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
Fugio Funding Network operates an SMS/text messaging program for customers who opt in. The program covers a single category of messages:
We do not use SMS to send marketing, promotional, or special-offer messages. We send service messages only if you have affirmatively opted in at sign-up.
Opt-In: By checking the SMS consent checkbox on our web form, you provide your prior express written consent to receive text messages from Fugio Funding Network at the mobile phone number you provide. The checkbox is optional and unchecked by default. Submitting the form is allowed regardless of whether you check the box. Consent is not a condition of receiving our services.
Message Frequency: Message frequency varies. SMS messages are sent as needed based on your funding consultation activity (for example, status updates, document requests, and appointment reminders).
Message and Data Rates: Standard message and data rates may apply according to your mobile carrier's plan. Fugio Funding Network is not responsible for any carrier charges.
Sending Numbers: Fugio Funding Network sends SMS messages from a pool of dedicated business phone numbers. You can opt out by replying STOP to any message you receive from us, regardless of which number it came from.
For purposes of our SMS/text messaging program, your mobile phone number and SMS opt-in consent information will NOT be shared with or sold to third parties, affiliates, or lead generators for marketing or promotional purposes. This SMS-specific restriction is separate from how we use your business profile to review your business profile in connection with commercial financing options and funding consultations (see Section 3).
For SMS delivery, we may share your mobile phone number only with service providers and subcontractors who assist us in operating the messaging program (such as our SMS platform provider), and only under strict confidentiality agreements solely to support the delivery and operation of our SMS messages.
You may opt out of our SMS messaging program at any time using any of the following methods:
Opt-out requests are processed immediately upon receipt. Opting out of SMS messages will not affect your ability to use our other services or receive email communications.
As part of your funding review, you may upload documents to our funding portal so our team can evaluate your business and identify suitable funding paths. To help us review these documents efficiently, we use a third-party artificial-intelligence service (Anthropic, PBC — see Section 8) to analyze them — for example, to confirm that an uploaded document is the type we requested, and to summarize high-level figures (such as total deposits or average account balance) for our team's review.
The documents you upload — which may contain personal and financial information — are transmitted securely to this provider (over encrypted connections, server-to-server) for that purpose. The full document is transmitted and is not redacted beforehand, because the provider needs the complete document in order to analyze it. The provider processes this information only to perform the analysis for us, under contractual terms that restrict its use to that purpose, and does not use it to train its artificial-intelligence models.
Human review. Our team reviews the results of this analysis. The analysis is a support tool that assists our staff — a suggestion, not a decision. We do not make decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects concerning you — including decisions about your funding — based solely on automated processing without human review.
What we keep. We retain only minimized summary information derived from this analysis — for example, the document type, a flag indicating whether the document matched our request, and aggregate figures such as total deposits or average balance. We do not store the underlying sensitive identifiers from these documents — such as Social Security numbers, full bank account or routing numbers, dates of birth, driver's-license numbers, or verbatim transaction lines — as part of this derived data. This derived summary information is deleted when your associated account information is deleted or anonymized.
We share personal information with third-party service providers (also called subprocessors) that perform functions on our behalf — such as operating our technology and hosting infrastructure, delivering messages, and, as described in Section 7, analyzing uploaded documents. We provide these providers only the information they need to perform their services for us, and we require them by contract to protect the information, to use it only to provide services to us, and not to sell it or use it for their own purposes.
Where we share nonpublic personal financial information, we require our service providers to maintain administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect that information, consistent with applicable financial-privacy laws, including the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act.
The artificial-intelligence provider that analyzes uploaded documents (described in Section 7) is:
Provider: Anthropic, PBC (the “Claude” API)
Location: United States (San Francisco, California)
Purpose: AI-assisted analysis of uploaded documents — verifying document type and summarizing key figures to support our team's review
Information shared: Uploaded documents and their contents, which may include personal and financial information
Use and retention: Processed only to perform the analysis for us; not used to train the provider's models; input data retained by the provider only as permitted under its commercial API terms and data-retention policy
Sharing information with service providers and subprocessors so they can perform services for us is not a “sale” of personal information, and is not “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising, as those terms are defined under the California Consumer Privacy Act (as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act) and similar state privacy laws. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Our service providers, including the artificial-intelligence provider described above, are located in the United States, and information shared with them is processed in the United States.
We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical security measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, use, alteration, or disclosure. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to provide our services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
SMS opt-in consent records — including the consent text shown to you, the timestamp of opt-in, the URL where consent was captured, and the phone number to which consent applies — are retained for a minimum of five (5) years from the date of opt-in or last activity, whichever is later, for TCPA and A2P 10DLC compliance and audit purposes. Opt-out events are retained on an indefinite basis to prevent re-sending after a STOP request.
